On 19 February, a conference was held at Valahia University in Târgoviște, Romania, to mark the funding of the European alliance KreativEU and to celebrate the twinning of the cities of Tomar and Târgoviște.

The Portuguese delegation included the Portuguese Ambassador to Romania, Paulo Cunha Alves, the Mayor of Tomar, Hugo Cristóvão, and the Pro-President of the Polytechnic University of Tomar, Célio Gonçalo Marques.

The session also included speeches by Cornel Sălișteanu, Rector of Valahia University of Târgoviște, Claudia Gilia, President of the Senate of Valahia University of Târgoviște, the representative of the Municipality of Târgoviște, and Silviu Miloiu, Professor at Valahia University of Târgoviște and member of the KreativEU Steering Committee.

The initiative culminated in the raising of the KreativEU flag.
