KreativEU attended the meeting of European universities "Shaping the future: European University Alliances for a Competitive Europe", held in Brussels on 26 and 27 February and promoted by the European Commission.

On 20 February, the Mayor of Tomar Hugo Cristovão and the Pro-Rector of the Polytechnic University of Tomar Célio Gonçalo Marques, were received at the Svishtov City Hall by the Mayor of Svishtov Gencho Bozhinov Genchev, and the President of the Svishtov City Council Kristiyan Kirilov, for the solemn signing of the twinning protocol between the cities of Tomar and Svishtov, Bulgaria.

On 19 February, a conference was held at Valahia University in Târgoviște, Romania, to mark the funding of the European alliance KreativEU and to celebrate the twinning of the cities of Tomar and Târgoviște.

The Portuguese delegation visited the research centres of Valahia University of Târgoviște, in Romania, promoting cooperation between academia and civil society.

KreativEU Hosts the 1st annual International Conference on Heritage, Science, and Technologies for Sustainable Preservation

On 16 and 17 May, Valahia University of Targoviste in Romania hosted the 1st Annual International KreativEU Conference, an event organised as part of the KreativEU - Knowledge & Creativity European University Consortium.

Twinning cities agreement between Tomar and Targoviste signed

The Polytechnic University of Tomar is promoting a six-day Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled "Gastronomy as Cultural Heritage".

In December 2023, the KreativEU Alliance fostered even closer involvement of students, through the organisation of eleven national focus groups and an international one.

The project HERITAGE GAME - A gamification model for community-based heritage work (2023-1-PT01-KA220-HED-000154261), developed by the KreativEU partners within the scope of key actions 2 (Cooperation partnerships) of the Erasmus+ program, was approved for funding.
